2014 Red Wine Blend

This wine is 48% Cabernet Franc from a very steep rocky vineyard in Browns valley bordering Carneros. The wine is marked by its savory herbal aromatics of sage, eucalyptus, and forest floor, both the Browns Valley Cabernet Franc and Oak Knoll Cabernet Sauvignon contribute to this profile. It is full of savory,  rich, herbaceous herbs d’Provence spices, roasted hatch chilis, laced with a distinct pencil shaving and graphite quality. The wine has black and blue fruit flavors that are backed up by black olive savory flavors as well and has a lingering finish.
